As a part of Indivisible 12’s Weekly Tiberi Action, join us August 10 in telling Rep. Pat Tiberi to oppose any budget proposals that take away basic programs in order to line the pockets of the rich.

Republicans in the House of Representatives have unveiled a federal budget that would give tax cuts to the wealthy and corporations, paid for by defunding core programs that help working families get by. The proposal would slash Medicaid, which provides health care coverage to 3 million Ohioans, including children. It would also strip money from the budget for food stamps, which help 1.5 million people in our state feed their families.

Thursday, August 10 at 12 PM – 2 PM, Rep. Tiberi’s Worthington Office, 250 E Wilson Bridge Rd, Worthington,  OH 43085-2332.

(We generally gather near the office, meet for a few minutes, protest on the sidewalk on Wilson Bridge Rd. and then go into the office to share our concerns with the staff.)
