Join Columbus Moms Demand Action and our community partners, We Are Linden, Mothers of Murdered Columbus Children, and Listen Good Youth, for our annual Wear Orange event to honor victims and survivors of gun violence nationwide. This year's event will feature a community kickball game in honor of MOMCC's Jackie Casimire's son who was taken by gun violence. We'll have opportunities for survivors to share their stories if they wish. We'll also have a photo wall if you would like to bring a photo of a loved one taken by gun violence. Throughout the event, there will be fun & games for kids, music & dancing, food, and more! Bring the family and be sure to Wear Orange! RSVP HERE.
We will need help setting up before the event, checking people in when they arrive, help with kids' games & activities, tabling, and serving food during the event, and help cleaning up after the event. We also need donations of water bottles and bags of chips - either on the day of the event or beforehand, if you are unable to attend but want to help out.
