Queen City United, Stand in Solidarity Against White Supremacy
Queen City United, Stand in Solidarity Against White Supremacy
March 8, 2025 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Washington Park, 1230 Elm St, Cincinnati, OH 45202, USA
Hate has no home here. Cincinnati is a city of resilience, strength, and above all—love. When white supremacists try to march through our streets, we don’t respond with fear. We respond with unity. We respond with music, with laughter, with art, and with joy. We come together, hand in hand, to show that the Queen City belongs to all of us—not to hate. Join us for a day of community, where we celebrate the rich diversity that makes our city strong. Bring your voices, your art, your energy. Sing, dance, and stand alongside and connect with your neighbors as we show the world that Cincinnati is a place of love, not division. Let’s drown out hate with joy. Let’s make it clear: white supremacy is not welcome here.

Build a More Tolerant Westerville City Council
Build a More Tolerant Westerville City Council
March 18, 2025 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
229 Huber Village Blvd, Westerville, OH 43081, USA
Join us at this meeting of Westerville City Council to help build a more welcoming council. Every regular meeting of the Westerville City Council opens with a prayer, usually from Christian clergy, as an invocation. In addition to breaking down the barrier between church and state, these prayers create an unwelcoming environment for those of different denominations, other religions, or no religion at all. The Westerville City Council is considering bylaw updates, and the removal of the invocation has been proposed as one potential update. Please join us to support this change.
We invite people to speak in support during public comments (3 minutes maximum, no. Wed to sign up in advance). More info here.

The Secret Catholic Cult Affecting Your Life
The Secret Catholic Cult Affecting Your Life
March 20, 2025 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
118 N Columbus St, Lancaster, OH 43130, USA
Opus Dei is a secretive cult within the Catholic Church that is having increasing influence over not only the church but U.S. politics. Learn more from our guest speaker about how they contributed to Project 2025. Opus Dei clearly states that it does not believe in the separation of church and state but wants to see a "symbiotic relationship." Five of our six Catholic U.S. Supreme Court Justices have a connection to or are members of Opus Dei, as are William Barr, Steve Bannon, JD Vance, Leonard Leo of the Federalist Society, and many contributors to the Project 2025 document. Pope Francis has tried to put some limits on them. They have been accused of human trafficking and are quite experienced at building up financial reserves and keeping at arms' length from any controversy. They are the Catholic version of Christian Nationalists. Join us for a discussion of their involvement and share ideas on how we can minimize their influence in our world.
