‘Tis the Season…of Taking [Speak Up/Be Heard in District 15]
Join us for our December Speak Up and Be Heard Series!
The Republicans have made the last part of 2017 the Season of Taking…from us!
They’ve attempted to take health care away from millions and millions of Americans—take away Medicaid support for the adults and children who need it to stay in their homes or be in school—take way the Medicare and Social Security systems you’ve paid into your whole life—and take away our basic democratic foundation of “e pluribus unum” as they put the interests of their wealthy donors ahead of their constituents’ well-being. And Steve Stivers leads the pack in ruining Ohio to line his campaign coffers.
His heart is at least two sizes too small to hold office!

At this Speak Out Social, we will be creating our own holiday songs to sing at Steve’s Lancaster office the following Thursday (Dec. 14). Our group effort will be to count down to the end of 2017 with the Twelve Months of Stivers song, and we encourage you to bring other ideas for new words to your favorite carols. (If you can’t join us for group writing, please send in a verse or two set to Jingle Bells!)

Speak Up and Be Heard 2017–2018!
We’ll meet on the first and second Thursdays of each month to make our voices heard. The first Thursday will be a Speak Up Social, where we’ll make creative messages about a current issue for Congressman Stivers. The second Thursday will be a Be Heard Office Visit, where we’ll deliver those messages to Congressman Stivers’ office in person.
